10 Reasons WWE Must Hold On To Wade Barrett

7. He Could Be A Major Asset To Another Company

For the past few years, WWE's missed the boat on using Wade Barrett to his full potential - that's why the star is leaving the company. Make no mistake, though; where WWE failed, another organization could easily succeed. Barrett would make a valuable addition to a company like Ring of Honor or EVOLVE Wrestling - his size would put him in an elite category (along with workers like Timothy Thatcher and Drew Galloway), while his skill would allow him to hang with the talent in either organization. Perhaps the best fit for Barrett, though, would be heading to New Japan Pro Wrestling and becoming a member of the Bullet Club. The group has been devastated by AJ Styles's jump to WWE (and the impending departures of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson), and Wade Barrett would make an ideal addition. Plus, New Japan is in dire need of new heavyweights. Could WWE make a play to keep Barrett just to prevent him from helping another organization? It's not like they haven't done similarly petty things in the past.
