10 Reasons WWE Roadblock Was Better Than Fastlane

2. Sami Zayn And Stardust Stole The Show

As the semi-main event, Sami Zayn and Stardust were exceptional in a match that would likely last five minutes on Raw, providing the total opposite from the painful display put on by R-Truth and Curtis Axel in the adjacent Fastlane contest. A common theme with house show matches is that the most over wrestler often wins, and it was fairly easy to predict that Sami Zayn would have his hand raised by the referee. However, the match was far from straight forward despite Stardust being viewed as the lesser half; surprisingly, Stardust even kicked out of the Blue Thunder Bomb late in the contest. On a card that featured three championship matches and Brock Lesnar, Zayn and Stardust being booked as the semi-main would have raised a few eyebrows. What eventuated was a thrilling contest between two Superstars with bucket loads of unused potential.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
