10 Reasons WWE Roadblock Was Better Than Fastlane

1. Triple H And Dean Ambrose's Match Of The Year Candidate

It may not have been WrestleMania 32 and we may have already foreseen the result, but the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Dean Ambrose was nothing short of breathtaking. In a week which featured the single greatest standard tag team match we have seen in recent memory between Y2AJ and The New Day, The Game and The Lunatic Fringe created more magic in Toronto, further fuelling claims that Ambrose should have featured in the WrestleMania 32 main event feud in place of Roman Reigns. While we knew Ambrose was not going to be a stepping stone, nobody could have predicted just how close he would come to winning the title. Further than multiple close two-counts and submissions, Ambrose even managed to secure a pinfall only for the referee to spot his foot underneath the ropes to erase the fall. WWE managed to satisfy the huge Dean Ambrose following by having him dominate the contest and only lose in a way that appeared to be sheer bad luck, putting on a memorable match that may top anything produced at WrestleMania in the process.

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
