It's a good thing us Brits have a reputation for patiently waiting in queues. Every year we convince ourselves this will be the time the Showcase of the Immortals comes across the pond, and every year another US city seemingly cuts in line.

There are some who believe the event will never leave American/Canadian shores - and they may be proven correct - but who (as little as five years ago) would of predicted women main-eventing a 2016 PPV, inside Hell in a Cell no less? Anything can happen in the WWE.

The NFL's Superbowl has global appeal but will never be more popular than on home soil; Wrestling's version however is as popular overseas as it is in the USA. There are a number of countries across multiple continents where the event would perform just as well should the WWE decide to take the plunge.

Vince McMahon has never been afraid of stepping into the unknown and now the company has gone "Universal" the time is fast approaching for the biggest show of the year to leave the safety of home. The UK, specifically Wembley Stadium in London, has been foreshadowed on WWE.com as a potential venue many times and is always rumoured among the final choices before the next hosts are announced. Clearly, it is in the mind of some of WWE's top brass as a possibility. Here are 10 reasons why Wrestlemania coming to the UK looks only a matter of time...

10. The Stadiums

Wembley Stadium was host to SummerSlam in 1992 and since being rebuilt in 2007, the new version has the capacity to house in excess of 100,000 members of the WWE Universe. The retractable roof removes the 'poor English weather' argument and any safety concerns can be put to bed when looking at the venue's track record of hosting massive events.

Wembley Stadium is the big selling point but not the be all and all of the UK's logistical advantages. The SSE Arena is around the corner and previously hosted NXT: Takeover London. The 02 Arena has served as a location for multiple editions of Raw and SmackDown and is only a short journey away. The Kensington Olympia, ExCel Centre and Earls Court all have history of hosting Comic-Con events and would make ideal locations for Axxess.

Thanks to the famous London Underground Tube (Subway) Network, visiting the city and the WWE events throughout Wrestlemania week would pose no problems whatsoever. With countless hotels and multiple International Airports, London is the ideal non-US location for travelling fans.
