10 Reasons WWE's Cruiserweight Division Isn't Working

2. Where Is Neville?

It seemed oh so obvious - a surefire way to get over the cruiserweight division and the championship from the get-go. TJ Perkins comes out on the first RAW after the Cruiserweight Classic for a championship celebration, to establish him as the top guy in the division. His celebration is interrupted by Neville, and an instant feud over the title is born.

It isn't just Neville either. WWE and the cruiserweight division would benefit hugely from some established names entering the division and wanting a piece of the action. Neville, Sami Zayn, Enzo Amore, Xavier Woods, and Sin Cara could all feasibly be a part of the division, and you can't tell me that Neville (or any of the others) wouldn't be a better fit for the face of the purple world.

Instead, the former Adrian finds himself losing to Bo Dallas in no time whatsoever in order to further a Dallas/Curtis Axel program. Go figure.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
