10 Recent Wrestling Matches That Wrestlers Hated
These wrestlers weren't a fan of some of their more recent in-ring work...
It's not exactly uncommon to witness a modern day wrestling match be critically pulled apart by those watching on either at home or within the actual arena itself. After all, with the ever-growing presence of social media, it's never been easier to voice a disapproving opinion of a contest to the masses and bury a match for not quite being your cup of tea.
However, it's not just fans and/or critics alike that have been known to take a more critical view of the action going down in-between the ropes. Sometimes the wrestlers themselves involved in a battle in question will make a point of scrutinising, undermining, or even thoroughly blasting a match they formed part of. Because sadly, not every bout can act as a reminder of why they fell in love with the business in the first place.
From feeling as though their work was depressingly overshadowed on the night, to labelling a WrestleMania main event showing as nothing short of "miserable", these wrestlers won't be adding these bouts to their Top 10's anytime soon, and here are the varied and sometimes shocking reasons why...
10. Liv Morgan Vs. Natalya - Monday Night Raw, 2020
The latter part of 2021 and early 2022 may be playing host to the long-awaited coming out party of sorts for former Riott Squad member Liv Morgan, but there have been more than a few bumps in the road before the star reached the point of challenging Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship.
One of the lowest periods in her up and down career within the WWE sphere came in the early stages of the pandemic era as Morgan found herself battling against Natalya a few weeks removed from facing The Queen of Harts at WrestleMania 36. And while that latter match must've felt like a bit of a career milestone for Liv, her Raw rematch with Nattie most definitely did not.
Taking to Twitter to shoot on the company's decision to cut her bout to pieces, or more specifically her offence within it, Morgan would tweet out, “Thank you for posting photos of what you cut out of my match I guess. Appreciate it @wwe.”

Clearly frustrated at having her momentum stalled time and time again, a much improved Liv's work being stripped away from this already brief affair left quite the sour taste in the future contender's mouth.
