10 Recent Wrestling Moments Which Were Too Uncomfortable To Watch
1. Matt Hardy's Horrific All Out Bump
2020 hasn't been too kind to either of the Hardy Boyz as it goes and the pair have both been involved in their fair share of uncomfortable on-screen situations.
Yet, it's hard to look past Matt's recent All Out fall as the most disturbing wrestling moment fans have witnessed in recent times.
Hardy had already been involved in another troubling incident a few weeks earlier when Sammy Guevara hurled the wrong sort of chair at the veteran on an episode of AEW Dynamite and severely split his head open. However, that accident was unfortunately dwarfed by the events which unfolded at AEW's most recent PPV.
As the pair battled for control at the top of a scissor lift, Guevara tackled Hardy off the high platform and through the tables below. Yet, instead of landing as safely as possible on the structures below, Hardy's head collided with the concrete floor and the former WWE star was knocked out cold.
He eventually came round, but referee Aubrey Edwards called for the match to be ended. Then, the bout was bizarrely restarted and the duo concluded the contest after Guevara was knocked off some scaffolding.
AEW have quite rightly come under fire for their decision to allow a clearly concussed Hardy to continue, but the most important thing is that the brilliant performer is safe and well at this time. Perhaps leave the high risk spots to the youngsters from now on, though, Matt?
