6. Tatanka's 637 Day Undefeated Streak
No, not that Wrestlemania one. Or Goldberg's. Or the Andre the Giant 15 year one. It's the undefeated streak of Tatanka of course. After debuting on WWE television in 1992, Tatanka was given a undefeated of streak that lasted until almost 1994. It should be said that Tatanka didn't always win - he was sometimes counted out - but he wasn't defeated by pinfall or submission from February 1st, 1992 to October 30th, 1993. Tatanka's 637 day streak of not being pinned or made to submit eclipses other legendary streaks - such as CM Punk's recent lengthy title reign (434 days). There are other longer streaks, Andre the Giant, Fabulous Moolah, Bruno Sammartino etc., but they were always high profile names, and they all received championships and accolades in return. Unfortunately for Tatanka, his undefeated streak didn't get the recognition that other streaks in the past did. Despite not being beaten, the most high profile title he received a shot at was the Intercontinental title, which he ironically lost, when Shawn Michaels got himself counted out so he could keep the strap. Even more depressingly, Tatanka's glorious run came to an end thanks to failed mega-star Ludvig Borga (remember him?) who finally got Tatanka's shoulders to stay on the mat long enough to hand him his first pinfall loss.
