Sean Waltman, who will soon become a 2-time Hall of Famer, has mentioned that although he called it a day on his in-ring career last July, he would not mind coming back to the ring to battle the NXT Superstars at a Takeover event. Popularly known as X-Pac, the DX and nWo member had announced his decision of retiring on his podcast, which goes by the name 'X-Pac 12360'.

Wrestle Royalty had quoted him as follows:

"I'm ******* done wrestling I'm not saying I'm never going to have another, but, but yeah, I decided, the WrestleMania weekend show, myself and Hurricane Helms and Liger, that's it, man. That was it. I’m ****** done. If I have a match in WWE on a WrestleMania, or actually I'm more interested in having a match on a show like (NXT Takeover), it would mean more to me; maybe I'd team with Matt Riddle, maybe a six-man, so I can have a little more protection."

X-Pac has a fantastic relationship with Triple H, who is also the father of the company's third brand. Hence, it is very much possible that the fans will witness Waltman wrestling in the ring with the likes of Matt Riddle, Pete Dunne, and even Adam Cole in a tag team encounter.
