I don't know about you, but I don’t think I’d want to mess with someone whose name was “Taj The Destroyer.” That’s a money-making name, bound to sell out arenas around the planet. You’d imagine it would be given to someone the size of Nathan Jones. It was actually one of the names that Seth Rollins used on the independent scene before making the big time.

Before he was an indy wrestler, though, he competed in backyard wrestling and just went with “God” as a name to instill fear in his opponents. When he went to Ring of Honor, he traded in those memorable monikers for Tyler Black, and then was gifted with the pretty bland “Seth Rollins” in NXT. It’s a far cry from Taj The Destroyer, that much is for sure.

You must also wonder if Rollins had kept God, if he could have found himself in a tag match with Shawn Michaels against The McMahons.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
