10 Ridiculous Tag-Teams WWE Missed Out On

8. 'Birdmen' (Red Rooster & Koko B. Ware)

WWE has always had an obsession with animal gimmicks.

Koko B. Ware was known as the 'Bird Man', and Terry Taylor drew the short end of the stick when he was cast as a walking, talking (and crowing) feathered friend. His 'Red Rooster' guise is one Bruce Prichard swears could've worked had Taylor been more into it. Maybe/maybe not.

It wouldn't have hurt his chances to link up with Koko as the 'Birdmen'. That would've extended B. Ware's run, possibly stopped his guff High Energy tag-team with Owen Hart from ever happening and given Terry someone to play off of. He looked desperately lonely as the Rooster.

One can just see Vince McMahon laughing his ass off on commentary as he watched Koko and Rooster 'do the bird' with Frankie at ringside before matches. One thing's for sure: Terry needed something more than his lame 'Terrific' nickname when he returned in 1993.
