10 ROH Stars Who Made It Big In WWE
1. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is regarded as one of Ring of Honor's "Founding Fathers", in that he was there at the very outset, main eventing the promotion's inaugural show in 2002, in a triple threat with Low Ki and Christopher Daniels.
Joining the promotion at just 21 - after a brief try-out with WWE - the "American Dragon" came of age in the low-key bingo halls early-era ROH used to trade in, winning numerous accolades along the way (including the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's "Best Technical Wrestler" award so many times they later renamed it in his honour).
Bryan is probably the only member of the ROH alumni who can legitimately claim to have been the de facto "face" of both promotions - although, when it came to WWE, it was only for a brief time before his career was brought to an abrupt end by injury.
