10 Roster Moves WWE Must Make After WrestleMania 34

7. Samoa Joe (Raw-SmackDown)

Joe's comeback from injury in mid-March may leave things too late for a meaningful slot at WrestleMania 34.

After New Orleans however, the Samoan should pick right up where he left off and become one of the best heels on the roster. Ideally, a draft to SmackDown in the next Shakeup means we'll get matches like Joe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Joe vs. AJ Styles and Joe vs. Dolph Ziggler in WWE. Don't be quick to mock that last suggestion; together, Joe's intensity and Dolph's big-bump style would be monstrous.

If WWE make a concerted effort to turn SmackDown from Raw without the extra hour into the 'wrestling show' it should be, it'd be better for all involved. Samoa Joe would slot in nicely as one of the leading lights there, as, on Raw, he's only going to job for Roman Reigns or be lumped into a tag-team anyway.

Joe deserves the chance to show his brilliance as a main event heel. Post-WrestleMania, he'd be the best rival imaginable for a newly-crowned Nakamura. Before Payback in May, WWE could settle Joe into the SmackDown roster and build sensibly towards that love note to hardcore wrestling fans.
