10 Satisfying Ways To Replace WWE Champion Daniel Bryan At Payback

9. Chris Jericho Answers An Open Challenge

Chris Jericho debuted in WWE in 1999 in Chicago. What would be better for his next potential run than to go back to the genesis of Y2J? Picture any random heel running down Chicago, and pretty much saying he€™s better than the entire locker room. It€™s an old trick that works like new every time. Jericho has been very quiet on the wrestling front, as his podcast and music have taken up much of his time lately. The long drawn out mysterious vignettes won€™t really work anymore, so WWE must catch us off guard. €œI challenge anyone in the back to come face me!!€ Followed By : BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!!! The crowd will lose it within seconds, and this could be done to set-up a long feud or just a one off for Jericho, who has given back more than his fair share as a veteran wrestler. Speaking for all long time Jerichoholics, you would be hard pressed to find a time where we didn€™t think a Jericho return would solve any problem WWE was having. Turn the lights out, and let that jacket shine. UPDATE: Chris Jericho was this weekend rumoured to return at Money in The Bank
