10 Scott Hall Moments Wrestling Fans Will Never Forget

4. His Part In Goldberg’s First Loss

Being brutally honest, much of Scott's WCW run post-1997 was very meh. Those aforementioned personal demons started to take over his life, and wrestling became a secondary concern. Despite that, Hall still managed to shock (literally) WCW devotees at Starrcade 1998 during Goldberg's match vs. Kevin Nash.

Big Kev's tag partner showed up to blast Goldberg with a taser and pave the way for Bill's first WCW defeat. It was a stunning finish, one that didn't sit well with those who thought Goldberg should remain unbeaten for another while longer; indeed, legendary announcer Bobby Heenan once said during a shoot that ending Bill's winning run was a huge blunder by the company.

Mistake or not, Hall's involvement will never be forgotten.

Few recall the follow-up match between Scott and Goldberg at Souled Out '99. Nah, they're too busy remembering the shock treatment Hall gave Bill one month prior, and how that changed Goldberg's WCW run for good.
