10 Screw Ups That Led To Huge WWE Moments

9. Roman's Loss Is Dean's Gain

The Screw Up: Shortly before Money In The Bank 2016, WWE learned that 'Big Dog' Roman Reigns had contravened their Wellness Policy. The embarrassing thing here was the Reigns was the current WWE Champion, and was scheduled to defend against Seth Rollins on the upcoming show.

They had no choice but to suspend him regardless.

The Moment: Roman dropped the belt to Seth at MITB first, which paved the way for Dean Ambrose to round out this Shield love-in by cashing in the briefcase and grabbing the title himself. That would probably never have happened had Reigns not violated Wellness right before the pay-per-view.

MITB ended up being memorable for Deano's big moment, and that took some heat off Reigns for falling foul of WWE's trusty policy. His loss was his old running buddy's gain, and led to a summer push to the top for Ambrose.
