10 Second-Generation Wrestlers Who Never Made It

2. Most Of The Harts

Stu Hart, the patriarch of the legendary Hart family, is an inductee of just about every Hall of Fame in pro wrestling. In addition to a career as a wrestler, Hart was also revered as a trainer, and for good reason - two of his sons, Bret and Owen, were among the greatest performers in pro wrestling history.

Nothing can be taken away from Stu, Bret, and Owen, but the idea of the Hart family as a dynasty of wrestling geniuses isn't exactly accurate. Bret and Owen had six other brothers who all became wrestlers, but none of them achieved anything notable outside of their family-run promotion.

Of all the "other" Hart brothers, it's Bruce and Keith who are the most visible, having worked a few matches for WWE in the early '90s and run the Hart Brothers Pro Wrestling Camp. Still, a telling story about Bruce comes from the buildup to WrestleMania X, when Pat Patterson initially wanted the multi-time Stampede Champion to play foil to Bret in the build to the show. Reportedly, Bret simply told Patterson that Bruce wasn't up to the task, and if he wanted the feud to work, to go with Owen. The rest is history.
