10 Secret Wrestling Messages You Could Hear

5. Kurt Angle

For those of us around at the time, we'd all seen the insane clip online of Brock Lesnar performing a Shooting Star Press during his time in OVW. So, when Lesnar went up to the top rope nearly 20 minutes into his WrestleMania XIX main event against Kurt Angle, there was a sense of ridiculous excitement at what may follow.

Unfortunately, Brock crashed and burned, landing directly on the top of his head when attempting an SSP on an Angle who was too far away from him.

It was scary, it was disturbing, and the watching wrestling world held its collective breath as to what shape Lesnar would be in if he was even able to move.

Due to the sheer panic of the situation, you can clearly see a three-way conversation play out between Lesnar, Angle and referee Mike Chioda - particularly with that Shooting Star Pres having been meant to end the match.

In amongst that chatter, Angle can be heard asking Brock, "Can you get up?" and then asking his opponent to F-5 him.

The Olympian has since discussed how Lesnar told him how he wasn't sure if he could get up, which is perfectly understandable when seeing the horrific landing the Beast Incarnate had.
