10 Segments Sky Sports Cut From WWE Programming Airing In The UK
5. R-Truth
In 2011 on RAW, John Morrison had a go at his former tag team partner R-Truth for smoking and challenged him to a match later that night, which Morrison won. So R-Truth beat the tar out of John after and then grabbed a pack of cigarettes from an ‘audience member’ who was conveniently right beside him and blew smoke in Morrison's face.
Truth continued to walk around the ring and puff on the cigarette in the O2 Arena in London. Back in 2007, the UK declared smoking in a public area illegal. So naturally UK fans began chanting "That's illegal".
R-Truth and his cigarettes did not air when RAW was broadcast in the UK. Sky Sports edited that one out. I guess their logic was it’s okay for kids to watch Truth mercilessly attack Morrison on TV but it’s in no way okay for him to smoke.
