10 Shock Returns We Could See At WWE Battleground

9. Batista

Batista is one of the most hated men that WWE featured in 2014 and it had nothing to do with the fact that he was a heel. From the moment that the former World Heavyweight Champion came back to the company, he was public enemy number one. The fans that supported him during his first run in WWE were the same fans that turned on him the moment he opened his mouth. Batista came off as cocky, arrogant and out of touch. He carried himself as if he had become a big success without WWE but the problem was, virtually no one believed that about him. Instead of being humble and appreciative of the fans that had initially made him a star, Batista was very combative and confrontational. However, turning him heel was the best thing WWE could have done for him. Putting him back alongside Triple H and Randy Orton in Evolution took Batista back to his roots. He more than fit in and by the time he left, Batista had finally begun to find his rhythm again. But Batista's return could perhaps happen sooner rather than later. His new movie Guardians of the Galaxy, is set for release on August 1 and Batista will surely do some heavy promotional work for the film. And the issue is not if but when Batista will be back on WWE programming to promote the movie. While it's not known how he would be used, the fact is that Batista and Triple H did not exactly part on good terms. Could The Animal come back at Battleground in an opposing role against the Authority?
