10. Vince McMahon Challenges Writer To A Drag Race... And Nearly Kills Him!

Vince McMahon is well known to have lived his life in the fast lane. The WWE chairman is all about the machismo and competitive streak, so if you work for him and he wants to play a game, it's best to just let him win. Court Bauer made the mistake of not acquiescing Vince's competitive nature in an almost unbelievable incident. The WWE writer was in the WWE HQ car park when he bumped into the Chairman late one night. Both had been putting a late shift in (as is usual with Vince), so the surrounding roads were pretty much empty. That gave McMahon an idea - "Hey Bauer, how do you fancy getting in our cars and having a race?" Bauer recounted to f4wonline's Bryan Alvarez in early 2011 the exact details of the story. Apparently Vince's car was far superior, so the result was considered a bit of a given. However, Bauer's inferior vehicle somehow managed to pull up alonside the Chairman during the race. Bad idea. An adrenaline fuelled McMahon actually tried to ram Bauer's car off the road. That's how competitive the WWE boss is; in a roundabout way he'd rather kill Bauer than lose a race to him!
