10 Shocking Incidents Of Unprofessional Conduct In WWE

6. The Plane Ride From Hell

Wwe Plane On May 5, 2002, the WWE talent roster and executives flew from Great Britain back to the United States on what has become one of the most notorious flights in history that didn't involve a crash or hijacking. There was heavy drinking on board, partially due to its lengthy delay and this contributed to the chaotic atmosphere that more closely resembled the Double Deuce from the movie Roadhouse rather than an international flight. The most notable of the incidents are as follows: Brock Lesnar and Curt Hennig got into an impromptu wrestling match that turned into a near-brawl, having to be separated by several men when their heated contest got dangerously close to one of the interior doors. Michael Hayes got plastered and started in on JBL, which led to Sean Waltman cutting off his trademark mullet once the Freebird had passed out. In an awkward situation for everyone, Goldust took to the planes PA system to drunkenly serenade his ex-wife, Terri Runnels until Jim Ross convinced him to stop making an *ss of himself. And no tale of wrestling debauchery is complete without Ric Flair strutting around in nothing but his robe, during which time he allegedly exposed his private parts to a female flight attendant. The most condemning detail of this story is that the plane was loaded with WWE executives who were unable to control any of this behavior, something that spoke to their overall respect among the men whom they oversaw.
