10 Shocking Jobs Wrestlers Held After Leaving The Spotlight

1. Scott Steiner - Restaurant Owner

Scott Steiner is one of baddest dudes to ever grace a pro wrestling ring. With arms the size of most people's heads and a fuse shorter than your average squash match on WCW Worldwide, Steiner made a career for himself as one of the most intimidating, believable and volatile wrestlers of the Monday Night Wars. Which, naturally, makes him the perfect candidate to run a restaurant in Acworth, GA.

With his career seemingly winding down, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion became a proud franchisee of Shoney's restaurant chain in 2016. In typical mild-mannered Steiner style, he did so by personally bulldozing the original Shoney's that stood in its place. Even the grand opening was a star-studded affair, attended by several of his former New World Order cohorts - Jeff Jarrett, Buff Bagwell and The Outsiders - as well as brother, Rick.

As for the restaurant itself, 'Big Poppa Pump' has given his wrestling fans something worth visiting too, with a host of Steiner's wrestling memorabilia on display in a cabinet next to the bar.

All in all, with Steiner at the helm, Shoney's has a 141 and 2/3 chance of success.

Occasional wrestler, full-time gym rat and lifelong lover of the grapple game. Would probably buy you a shot of Jack at the bar in exchange for witty banter...and preferably more Jack. @MartynGrant88 for more wrestling-related musings and weight room wisecracks!
