10 Shocking On Air Wrestling Burials

1. Vince Russo Verbally Beats Hulk Hogan Down

Hulk Hogan Bash At The Beach 2000 Bash At The Beach 2000 will forever be remembered as the night on which Booker T finally reached the top of the mountain in WCW, beating Jeff Jarrett and winning the WCW World Title. Unfortunately, the event is also recalled for a debacle involving Hulk Hogan, Jarrett and booker Vince Russo. The real story has been changed a million times by all involved, but it seems like an angle shot earlier in the show, where Jarrett laid down and let Hogan pin him, was in the script. Leaving the building, Hulk said he and Eric Bischoff were delighted with how things had went, but Hogan was furious after he heard a promo cut by Russo in the middle of the ring. Relentlessly slating The Hulkster, Russo told fans in attendance that they'd never see Hulk in WCW as long as he was in charge, which was fine from a storyline perspective. What wasn't fine with Hogan was that Russo called him a "big, bald son of a bitch", and a "piece of shit". The lawsuit which stemmed from this incident went on for years, only being dismissed in 2003. Hogan was up in arms, claiming that Russo had went off the script and into business for himself. This was the last fans would see of Hulk Hogan in WCW, as the company was bought out by Vince McMahon the following Spring.
