10. Stone Cold's Beer Bash
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and beer go together like peanut butter & jelly, like milk and cookies, like Hall & Oates, but back in the early 00s there was a time when Stone Cold wasn't allowed to touch one of his beloved Steveweisers. In 2003, following Austin's plea of no contest to the charges of spousal battery filed by against him. This included among other things, being legally prohibited from drinking alcohol. When he learned this period was over, he set about organising his biggest beer bash ever, as he details in his book.
I call up Vince and suggest to him that on next Monday's Raw, we have a real live kick-ass beer bash! I tell him that I just got off probation and if I'm not drinking sixty beers in the ring next Monday, then there's something wrong.
The beer bash happened as planned, but many saw it as a tasteless celebration in the wake of his punishment being lifted. Similar concerns were raised later that year when he gave Stacy Keibler a Stone Cold Stunner for refusing a beer from him, with concerns that WWE should not be putting Austin in such easily avoidable controversial segments.
