10 Shocking Vince McMahon Moments You Totally Don't Remember

6. Vince Turns The Airwaves Blue In Blighty

Vince absolutely loved going to UK.

He sensed that he could get away with his worst impulses, since England is ever so slightly more liberal. You could see nipples on the third page of popular newspapers and everything!

Imagine, at WrestleMania XV, Mr. McMahon hightailing to the ring, distracting the referee, and telling Steve Austin to f*ck off. You can't, because it wouldn't happen, even in the Attitude Era. Yet it happened in Blighty.

"Where's my title shot?" the British Bulldog asked at the UK-exclusive Rebellion pay-per-view in 1999. No title shot was forthcoming, which is curious, since he was promised one in 1997 in return for doing a job he promised his cancer-stricken sister he would not do in Birmingham at One Night Only. Rebellion was also held in Birmingham, and it was a show on which the Bulldog played heel to allow nothing of consequence to happen.

God, this company was always the worst.

An infuriated Davey Boy grabbed a bin and hurled it across the room. It smashed Stephanie McMahon in the head. Bulldog made his presence felt in the WWF Title Steel Cage match main event between Triple H and the Rock, to incite the de rigueur shmozz, at the end of which a recovering, apoplectic Vince locked Bulldog in the cage. This allowed Rock to get revenge after Bulldog cost him the match.

With the key locked, Vince, your hero now, screamed F*CK YOU in Bulldog's face for a second time in the same city.
