10 Shocking Wrestler Ages That Will Blow Your Mind

3. Arn Anderson

Earthquake Hulk Hogan
WWE

The preeminent hard bastard who also looked a bit like a bank manager, Arn Anderson was born middle-aged with a rock for a head. With hair that was wispy when it wasn't thinning, it was the perfect look for a pro wrestling heel. He look tough, and legitimate, with bulging eyes that sold the fear of a babyface reckoning magnificently.

Arn grounded the seminal Four Horsemen stable with his calculated, economical promos. He didn't have to holler or even say much. He had a way with words to which a writer, much less a promo, should aspire - but he also displayed his range with phenomenal, almost slapstick selling. He promised bloodshed, delivered it before the bell rang, and then showed ass when fair was fair. He was great.

He was 29 years old when he worked the first ever WarGames match, and a couple of years younger still when he looked like a wisened old hand lecturing the babyfaces on exactly why they shouldn't have intruded on his path.

29, and he looked like he nursed a whisky to drink away middle age.
