10 Shocking Wrestling Plans You Won't Believe ACTUALLY Happened

2. Kurt Angle Stalks Sharmell

Lost in between Kurt Angle's transformation from comedy technician to killer wrestling machine was a deeply upsetting 2005 time-filler with Booker T that went escalated rapidly from him attempting to break the 'Five Time WCW Champion's bones with submissions and suplexes, to completely breaking his spirit by threatening to rape his wife.

If that seems quite a leap, it played out like one too. Within weeks, Angle was a maniacal pervert, proudly harping on about 'bestiality sex' with Sharmell. He called her a 'gutter slut' (though qualified that by suggesting that particular subsection of society were up his street), and physically assaulted her in the backstage area before and after a match between the two.

Despite risking prison time and a career defined by his portrayal of a sex offender, the arc was thankfully parked following Kurt's trade to the flagship show, and rarely makes air in WWE's sanitised PG era.
