10 Most Shocking WWE Releases This Decade

2. Kharma - Released July 24, 2012

WWE.comWWE.comKharma looked set to put the Divas division on notice. She got more hype before her debut than perhaps any Diva in the company€™s history. A series of vignettes showed us that she had her sights set on the Barbie doll like models that were dominating the company, and she was going to crush them all. Before she could really get started, she became pregnant. While it should have been a great time in her personal life, it was awful timing professionally. To make matters much worse, Kharma tragically had a miscarriage. In her entire WWE run, she only had one match, which was at the Royal Rumble. She disappeared from TV after that, and fans were expecting her to show up again at anytime. She never returned. Kharma was released from her contract reportedly due to being out of shape, and difficult to work with. Her depature was so surpring, because of how much hype WWE gave her. While males often get vignettes before their debut (Adam Rose, Fandango, Bo Dallas), the women rarely do. Kharma was one of the lucky ones, but her run was far too brief as she should still be dominating today.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
