6. Emma

The decision to release Emma last week was about as shocking as the inevitable news that Roman Reigns will be headlining his fourth consecutive WrestleMania next year in New Orleans.

Here, we refer instead to her first firing in June 2014, which came off the heels of an accusation that she had shoplifted an iPad case from Walmart - something WWE officials apparently took a dim view of, despite her insistence that it was simply a misunderstanding.

The whole thing was pretty shocking. Emma - even during her short-lived bad girl phase - never seemed like the sort of person who would get on the wrong side of the law, but being escorted out of a TV taping by police just isn't a great look.

In the end, however, the company saw sense, and reinstated her employment just a few hours after announcing that she was to be let go. Someone, it seems, came to realise that it was unlikely a well-paid professional wrestler would risk their livelihood for a tablet accessory (albeit a probably over-priced one).
