Celebrities getting involved in wrestling angles can be a risky endeavour. For every one that works there are usually five that don't. If celebrity or sports star involvement in professional wrestling is going to work then they need to respect wrestling and not treat it as a joke. Thankfully that's exactly what Floyd Mayweather Jr. did during his angle with The Big Show. They kicked off their memorable feud with a very realistic brawl at No Way Out 2008. Mayweather had run into Rey Mysterio backstage early in the show and the two exchanged pleasantries (and complex handshakes). Mayweather was set ringside for Rey's short World Heavyweight Championship match with Edge (Rey had a serious bicep muscle injury but gutted it out on the night). Post-match saw the surprise return of The Big Show, who had been absent from WWE for more than a year. Show set his sights on the injured Rey, causing 'Money' Mayweather to hop the barricade and into the ring. Feeling generous, Show got down on one knee. Unfortunately for him, Mayweather unloaded with a series of rabbit punches, breaking Show's nose. That p****d off the giant, who chased Mayweather and his crew through the crowd before being restrained by Shane McMahon. It was an exciting and realistic angle, aided in no part thanks to the fact that none of the announcers piped up during the whole time. Mayweather used the unintentional nose-breaking in promos in the weeks leading up to their big WrestleMania match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CASXye4AZ-o
