You'd be right to wonder where in the name of straight edge saviours one CM Punk has been throughout this entire list. He's been conspicuous by his absence for a reason: Punk is one of the leading favourites to win the men's Rumble and march on to challenge for the World Title come 'Mania XL.

Or not.

It'd send shockwaves around the pro wrestling world if none other than 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin was a surprise entrant in the Rumble and eliminated Punk from contention. Why? Well why not? Punk vs. Austin is another match people have wanted to see for decades, and now WWE finally has the chance to make it happen.

Being honest, creative could still get to Punk's title success without a Rumble win. If they fancy Cody Rhodes again, then the writers could have Austin eliminate Punk then return later in the year for more once CM wins Raw's top belt.

Again, food for thought.
