10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At The Greatest Royal Rumble

6. Doing It Themselves

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa engaged in an era-defining epic at TakeOver: New Orleans, providing NXT yet another legendary effort and at long last paying off one of the greatest feuds in company history.

For now, anyway.

Currently licking his wounds from their incredible effort, Ciampa's shadow looms large over Gargano's near future and both look set to collide again at TakeOver: Chicago a year removed from their crushing collapse in the very same building.

WWE could take a golden opportunity to give audiences a tiny taste of what's still to come between the two, taking their war across the shores to add international flavour to an already multi-layered tale.

The beauty of inserting both Ciampa and Gargano in the Greatest Royal Rumble match is that neither even have to win. The mere sight of them will draw a huge response from the crowd, as will their brawl before a more accomplished and/or focussed performer tosses both to the floor in the heat of battle.
