9. Samoa Joe
Speaking of NXT, this Royal Rumble could see the main roster debut of several Full Sail regulars. Chief among them is surely Samoa Joe, who isn't on the card for TakeOver: San Antonio. Just seeing the former TNA icon in the Royal Rumble would be surreal and brilliant, but could he actually win the damn thing?
Joe has a wealth of opponents to choose from should he outlast 29 other superstars. He could feasibly renew his feud with Kevin Owens, or begin a new one with Roman Reigns (in many ways the antithesis of Joe, who grinded in TNA and ROH for years). Over on the SmackDown side of things, the prospect of a WWE match with old TNA nemesis AJ Styles is mouthwatering.
