10 Short-Lived Wrestling Stables You Totally Don’t Remember

7. King Booker's Court

Booker T was a total riot during his 'King' gimmick, and it successfully prolonged his run as a main-eventer in WWE beyond 2006. Fans have recently been reintroduced to 'King Bookah' in a cameo on SmackDown with The New Day, but there was no talk of his Court. That faction has been lost to history.

That's a shame, because (Sir) William Regal and (Sir) Finlay were tremendous foil for Booker's deranged royal character in 2006. That whole period of SmackDown is generally considered one of the best, making the Court's status as one of WWE's most overlooked stables a bit confusing; WWE themselves included the group in a 2013 article looking at underrated gangs.

Underrated is an understatement.

Both Regal and Finlay were hard-nosed backup for the 'King', and their in-ring work was always solid. As believably tough henchmen, both were in their element. If you can, check out some of their run on the Network.
