Length of WWE Championship Reign: 2 hours, 20 minutes

John Cena was in the midst of a WWE Championship reign that showed little signs of slowing down… until he tore a pectoral muscle 380 days into his run with the title.

Vince McMahon presented the title to Randy Orton at No Mercy (Orton was Cena’s scheduled opponent), but he was immediately challenged by Triple H, who would go on to defeat him (more on that later). Triple H would then face Umaga during the same PPV for the title and retain, but then McMahon would further stack the deck, forcing Hunter to defend against Orton.

And at the end of the PPV, Orton defeated Triple H, ending The Game’s sixth WWE Championship reign at less than three hours. Don’t worry though – there would be plenty of other opportunities for Hunter.
