WWE got everything they could have ever wanted out of the notoriously ill-prepared megastar Mr T as he joined forces with Hulk Hogan to take on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Any longer than the trim time here and he would have stolen the oxygen supply from the first few rows.

A loaded clash protected the big celebrity investment. The bout also boasting Jimmy Snuka and Bob Orton Jr as cornermen kept things moving at a frantic pace when T didn't have the engine to do so himself, with the match overall delivering a main event spectacle precisely in line with Vince McMahon's sales pitch for the show.

'The Hulkster' was the cornerstone of the early WrestleManias and will feature prominently in this list, but performances like this highlight why McMahon, Eric Bischoff, Dixie Carter and others have taken ethical and physical gambles to withdraw a few more dollars from this walking, talking, flexing cash factory.
