10 Shortest WWE WrestleMania Main Events Ever

7. Hulk Hogan Vs Andre The Giant (WrestleMania III) - 12:01

Hyperbole is simply hype in professional wrestling. There's nothing wrong with the oversell before the event so long as you can deliver something resembling what you promised on the night. For every minute of the 12, Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant did just that.

The legendary clash is defined beautifully by its bookends more than some of the ponderous meandering in a flabby middle portion. 30+ years on and what feels like 30,000+ views later, it's hard to keep one's jaw from dropping at the scintillating stare down and the quick win teased by Andre falling on top of Hogan's powerslam attempt. His success with the move to build to the climactic conclusion felt earned by the basic but brilliant struggle he'd survived.

A sub-15 minute battle may as well have been been the 100 years war. As far as the awe-inspiring Detroit audience were concerned, the biggest Giant in the world had been slain in front of their very eyes.
