10 Showstopping Dolph Ziggler WWE Matches

2. Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena - TLC 2012

The biggest match of Dolph Ziggler's career was the TLC 2012 main event in which he put his Money in the Bank briefcase up for grabs against John Cena. The storyline involving the Showoff and WWE's franchise player centered around AJ Lee and accusations made by Vickie Guerrero about the petite New Jerseyan and the leader of the Cenation. Cena, of course, was quick to denounce those accusations, claiming only to be the friend of the unstable Diva. Still, that did not prevent Guerrero from uncovering plenty of "evidence" that suggested otherwise. With Cena mentally shaken by claims about his personal life, Ziggler saw the opportunity to not only capitalize on an opening but to score the biggest win of his career against the most recognizable star in today's wrestling world. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1156l0_tlc-2012-john-cena-vs-dolph-ziggler-for-ziggler-s-mitb-briefcase_sport Ziggler excelled in his first singles pay-per-view main event, working a brilliant match with Cena that sacrificed big bumps and death-defying spots for a smart and more subdued style. Late in the contest, AJ skipped her way to the ring, clad in her Cena merchandise, and proceeded to shock the wrestling world by shoving over the ladder with Cena on it, causing the former heavyweight champion to crash to the mat below. Moments later, Ziggler climbed his way to victory and a mutually beneficial relationship with AJ began.
