Corey Graves was one of NXTs biggest stars in the early days, and seemed destined for big things on the main roster. He feuded with the likes of The Wyatt Family, The Shield and Adrian Neville and had the look to be a standout WWE superstar. In October 2013, he suffered his first concussion during his feud with Adrian Neville. Luckily, it wasnt too severe and he returned a month later to continue the feud with the future NXT Champion. However, less than six months later, shortly after his WWE Network debut, Graves suffered a second concussion and hasnt been seen since. Now the word is that it was so severe its forced him into an early retirement at only thirty years old. Its always a tragedy when someones career gets cut short due to an injury, and Graves had a lot more to give within WWE. Thankfully, hes still an active part of NXT behind the scenes and has been working on production of live events. Corey Graves is also one of the few NXT talents featured in WWE 2K15, meaning that fans who came to NXT late will still get exposure to the Saviour of Misbehaviour. While his future looks uncertain, its at least nice knowing that WWE are looking after him and finding new roles for him within the organisation.
