10 Signs CM Punk Was Obviously Unhappy With WWE

7. He Was Passed Over For WrestleMania's Main Event Yet Again

It's common knowledge that one of CM Punk's goals in the wrestling industry -- and, in fact, the only one he didn't accomplish -- was to compete in the main event of WrestleMania, a slot that would truly prove he had reached the top of the business. Despite being WWE Champion in 2012, his title match with Chris Jericho was billed under The Rock versus John Cena. Punk turned, figuring that if he couldn't eclipse Cena, it was better to be the number one heel than the number two babyface. At WrestleMania XXIX, he challenged The Undertaker's streak, but once again, Cena and The Rock went on last. This year, his luck wasn't likely to change. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton had issues with Daniel Bryan and John Cena -- as well as a built-in program with the returning Batista -- leaving Punk as an odd man out. Reportedly, he was offered a match with Triple H at WrestleMania XXX -- which certainly would have garnered him a high-profile slot, though not the main event -- but he turned it down, not winning any friends in management in the process. Clearly, it was headline or bust.
