Speaking of Tamina, we've all seen what can happen to wrestler offspring. There's not a single match that Snuka has where someone doesn't mention that she's the daughter of the legendary Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka (and it's practically verbatim). Still, you don't hear that often how the Usos are Rikishi's sons or even how Mr. Perfect sired Curtis Axel. It seems like in Tamina's case that line is used as a crutch because she doesn't have much direction.
You already have to pay some attention to Charlotte, and not just because of her family. Her pure athleticism and wrestling ability are practically unrivaled over on NXT. She's had some of the most impressive matches that the Florida developmental has ever seen. She's not gimmick-y, and she's not trying to be a seductress. She lets her skills do all the talking without using her father's name as a crutch.
WWE has aired commercials advertising its new partnership with clothing brand Tapout. In it, Roman Reigns features prominently, as well as Alicia Fox, Dolph Ziggler, and Charlotte. Unlike everyone else in the ad, Charlotte's still with NXT, although she had one match on Raw. As a former NXT Women's Champion, it seems like a matter of time before Charlotte is called up. If so, and if she gets to live up to her full potential, you won't want to miss another Divas match.
