WWE is all about drama, but that doesn't always have to be the case when it comes to what we see in the ring. Far too often they advance storylines through actions that make no sense, with performers seemingly waiting until the worst moment to do something, purely because it works dramatically. Take Ryback's recent heel turn. He walked out on his partners during an encounter with The Wyatt Family having already fought for a substantial part of the match and having played a big part in beating them the night before. Why wait so long? If Ryback was fed up why would he wait until that moment to turn his back on his friends? He risks getting injured in the match or losing to wait for the dramatic peak? And yet this happens time after time in WWE. Moments where logic goes out the window just to help the dramatic effect. Heels that wait until ten minutes into a match, just to get intentionally disqualified rather than doing it the second they walk into the ring. Babyfaces waiting until every single bad guy has moved into position before deciding it might be a good idea to get the first punch in. You could argue that this is just wrestling, and that's the nature of the beast. But why should it be? It makes no sense, and quite frankly it assumes wrestling fans are stupid. Well, guess what - we aren't.
