Last year WWE made a smart move by not including their annual Divas Halloween battle royal, which usually sees the women dress in silly or skimpy costumes for a match that typically lasts around five minutes. Stephanie McMahon said she wanted the Divas to reflect women in sports such as Serena Williams and Ronda Rousey, but there's no chance in hell that Ronda would dress up in a skimpy Santa suit for a match in the Octagon. The Divas should be pushed as serious competitors; as athletes working hard and fighting for a title. In contrast, the NXT women are shown as hard workers who hunger for one thing - the NXT Women's Championship, and every Diva in the locker room should be shown fighting for the belt and wanting to forge a name for themselves.
