5. Records Are Made To Be Broken

It was a huge night for John Cena following his record-tying WWE Title victory over AJ Styles in another choice match between the two.

However, with all immediate thoughts turning to WrestleMania, where does that leave the 'Leader of the Cenation' in the run up to the 'Show of Shows'?

Next in Cena's diary will be a defence of his newly-won championship at Elimination Chamber, where he is likely to tackle AJ again along with the best of the rest on Smackdown Live.

However, Randy Orton's Royal Rumble victory complicates things somewhat, as it seems unlikely WWE will press forward with a Cena/Orton programme fans were driven to distraction by the last time it was trotted out in 2014.

Furthermore, Cena's victory last night only equalled the fictitious record set by Ric Flair, it didn't break it.

With all of that to consider, it's possible this reign might be a little shorter for 'The Champ', and still clouds his potential WrestleMania destiny.

Should he drop the gold at the February Pay-Per-View though, it's highly possible Cena may try to insert himself into a title match anyway, with even bigger, record-breaking stakes at play for the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.
