10 Specific Ways WWE Stars Can Recover From Awful Booking
7. The Revival
Remember when Triple H thought he was giving The Revival "the rub" by Pedigree-ing their credibility to death on RAW25? Now more Dispirited Squad than top-tier tag act, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are absolutely knackered.
The Young Bucks built their brand through bratty behaviour - and even they have taken pity on and stopped baiting the Revival, either because they're nice guys at heart, or have realised that there is no longer any money or intrigue in teasing an eventual match in 2018. In order to revive the Revival, WWE must give a toss about tag team wrestling, first and foremost. If that's a stretch too far, then WWE at least have grand plans for Drew McIntyre. His inevitable babyface split from Dolph Ziggler should result from a programme opposite the Revival, whose awesome artifice would restore that act and create a platform on which to create discord between McIntyre and the man, as will be revealed, who used him to keep himself relevant.
Putting an act Vince wants over to his satisfaction may yet deem an act he is inherently indifferent to something beyond surplus to requirements.
