With possibly the exception of the growing list of wrestlers getting injured, the biggest news to come out of the wrestling world recently is that WWE are due to sign/have signed NJPW stars Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and AJ Styles. It's particularly exciting as Anderson, Gallows and Styles are members of the highly popular Bullet Club faction. Even those unfamiliar with the group have no doubt seen their t-shirts, one of wrestling's hottest sellers over the past couple of years. One of the most popular and dominant wrestling factions in recent memory, the group have run wild in New Japan, as well as a host of other Japanese companies and US-based groups such as Ring Of Honor and Global Force Wrestling. They're in many ways a modern day nWo, and have even got the blessing of Big Sexy, Kevin Nash and The Bad Guy, Razor Ramon, themselves. With their original head honcho being the former Prince Devitt and current NXT Champion Finn Balor, here's how I'd book this group of exciting outlaws to make a splash in the WWE.
10. Finn Balor's Main Roster Debut
It's the post-WrestleMania Raw and Finn Balor has recently lost his NXT Championship to Baron Corbin in order to get his call-up to the main roster, which occurs tonight. The Miz is having a rant in the ring when Balor's music hits. He gets a massive pop and wins an impromptu match that sends the crowd bonkers. The celebrations are short-lived, though, as the lights cut out and Bray Wyatt appears on the Titantron. He cuts an eerie promo about how he's been watching Balor and plans on taking advantage of the Demon to do his dastardly dealings. Triple H has lost a match at WrestleMania and is being phased off TV. No big song or dance, but there's just no authority figures for awhile so we solve the problem of whether Triple H is face or heel this week. Also, Balor's debut isn't the only surprise of the night, Seth Rollins makes his return to a huge ovation, cuts a face promo on wanting the WWE Title back and wins a number one contender match. The lead to Extreme Rules sees face Rollins and face Reigns cutting promos on how they've been through a lot, with the build being centred around letting the better man win. Meanwhile, Wyatt has been tormenting Balor, trying to get into his head. The lights regularly get cut out and Balor is attacked by the Wyatt family, you know, the usual from the lads in the sheep masks. At Extreme Rules Balor gets the better of Wyatt, while in the main event Rollins wins the WWE World Heavyweight Title in a hard-fought battle against Roman Reigns that even sees the two men shaking hands at the end, cementing Rollins as the new babyface champion.
