10 Stiffest Wrestlers Ever

6. New Jack

The last time this writer discussed New Jack; things got a little out of hand in the €˜comments€™ section. It€™s quite fitting, actually, because things seem to get €œout of hand€ whenever New Jack steps into the ring. In response to the previous feature, many fans suggested that New Jack€™s gimmick was just a work and that the former bounty hunter (and legitimate murderer) was actually working his gimmick in interview segments and shoots like those seen in the films Beyond The Mat and Forever Hardcore. That might actually be true, but one thing that cannot be denied is that New Jack is a dangerous wrestler, even by ECW standards. €œI€™m a violent person, I€™m violent by nature - and I€™ll hurt you€ Jack memorably told filmmaker Barry Blaustein in Beyond The Mat. He wasn€™t kidding. New Jack€™s €˜by any means necessary€™ approach to pro wrestling has left him effectively blind in one eye and living in constant agony, but if you think that€™s bad €“ you should see the other guys! Younger fans (albeit those that are over 18 and possessed a strong stomach) should check out the famous €˜Mass Transit Incident€™ to see what all the fuss is about.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
