7. Why Didn't Seth Rollins Wear That Awesome White Gear All Of The Time?

Bit of a departure here, in that the gear Seth Rollins wore at SummerSlam 2015 wasn't inexplicable. It was inexplicable that he didn't dust it off for every big match thereafter.

He was at the peak of his powers that year, which makes it all the more shameful that he spent most of it playing the role of a grown man negged by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who frequently b*llocked him for...relying on the help of his heel stablemates in a storyline development that was meant to mirror Triple H's role in Evolution, in which he relied on the help of his heel stablemates. Weirdly, this guardian angel administers tough love deal didn't get over, and Rollins was later buried with "CM Punk!" chants when he finally turned face.

But in the ring, Rollins was on fire as an elite banger practitioner, giving John Cena the best matches of his own best run, and he never looked better - literally - than at SummerSlam. Resplendent in white, he looked as pristine as his lung-bursting work. Rollins was a character desperate to prove his worth as the chosen Ace, and this was realised gloriously in his frenetic performances.

He never wore that gear again because Vince McMahon is insane.

Those aren't your writer's words; they are the words of someone who "was there". They are the words of Seth Rollins himself answering the question at an autograph signing.

"He's a weird old man who doesn't understand that people think it's the coolest gear they've ever seen," Seth revealed.
