8. Cesaro

On a pound-for-pound basis, no WWE superstar is stronger than Cesaro. 'The Swiss Superman' weighs just 232lbs, but you need only watch one of his singles match to realise how powerful he is. Suplexes, slams, the giant swing: he always makes them look effortless, no matter the victim's size or stature.

Cesaro's athleticism is just absurd. JBL has described him as the strongest man in the company on a number of occasions, and while the evidence for this argument doesn't quite stack up, he's definitely in the conversation. The current Raw Tag Team Champion can bench press 405lbs, and execute a one-handed weighted barbell snatch and press - an exercise most wrestlers can't even perform with a weight-less bar.

The former Claudio Castagnoli has swung The Great Khali, suplexed Big Show over the top rope, and hit Mark Hentry with a Neutraliser, all without breaking a sweat. Sure, his lifting numbers aren't as impressive as some of the company's bigger men, but his ring work more than compensates for his, and the grace and poise with which he executes these feats of strength marks him as WWE's most impressive athletes.
